UN_FOLD: 9 Chairs, 9 FedEx Boxes

From the folks at City Magazine comes a very cool furniture design project called UN_FOLD. They asked nine designers from around the world to each design a cost-effective, collapsable piece of furniture within 90 days. The requirements: a budget under $200, the piece had to support the weight of a 200lb person, and, oh yeah, it had to fit into a FedEx box. The chairs/seats are finished and you can check out a cool video of their unboxing and assembly. The finished designs were unveiled at the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in May.
