Cleansing Yourself of Clutter
Swamped by all the clutter in your house? Sometimes the biggest impact you can make on your home's appearance is to step back, evaluate what isn't truly necessary and then (perhaps the hardest part for some people) get rid of it. This Alameda Times-Star article explains it better than I can:
“A basic principle of interior design is that we can create new opportunity to enter and enrich our lives through decorating, and clutter can greatly impede this process. The clutter can be either physical or mental. Is a room too busy with furniture, mementos and remnants of everyday life? Are closets and drawers full of stuff that you think you might need some day even though you haven't used it for years?”
Remember, clutter isn't just a physical thing, it's mental, too. Clean out the clutter and start enjoying life!
