What about Blue?
- Blue is a cooling and relaxing color, so residential interior designers effectively make use of this color in bedrooms, bathrooms, and recreation rooms.
- Blue is a natural appetite suppressant as few foods are found to be blue in nature, so keep blue out of kitchens except when dieting.
- When using blue in bedrooms, avoid over-use or the room will feel chilly and will dull amorous feelings.
Red Tips for Residential Interior Designers
- Red is the color of love as it causes excited amorous states of arousal, so use in bedrooms, bathrooms, and scattered throughout a home works well.
- Residential interior designers will usually avoid use of “hot” reds in bedrooms as it can make falling asleep difficult.
- Anywhere you want to avoid heating up your body temperature is a good place to tone down the reds.
