Simplicity can be the key to a comfortable guest bedroom. This can be achieved in two ways: creating space for your guests and designing an interior decorating scheme for the bedroom that helps them relax.Creating space gives overnight guests the feeling that they have a temporary place of their own. You can achieve this by opening up as much of the floor as possible. Place dressers or small bookshelves in the closet. Keep any dressers or desktop surface you do have clutter-free. Giving guests somewhere to put their things helps them feel as though you've created extra space just for them.
Creating visual relaxation lends a sense of comfort. The bedroom should seem like a calm place of rest, and the best way to achieve this is through the main focus of the room: the bed. Use soft or neutral colors, which are easy to look at, and avoid too many fancy patterns or geometrical designs, which can be overly stimulating.
